Not all entrepreneurs work the same way. We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect.
Respect Everyone’s Privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group. Have respect for each other.
Contribute & Engage
Share your individual business stories and content related to entrepreneurial topics. Share what you’ve learned and what you are challenged by and react and comment on the posts of other members. This group will be as strong and vital as the sum of our contributions.
No Hate Speech or Bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated.
Spam is Not Permitted
Spam is defined as irrelevant content such as posting Affiliate links, “opportunities” to work from home, and bitcoin schemes. We want to avoid unethical activities such as phishing, misleading offers, and links that are malicious.
Things to Avoid
While Administrators may approve rare exceptions, we will not permit a variety of activities, including: “going live” from our page unless done by a page Administrator; GoFundMe or Kickstarter Posts; Donation Requests; promotion of other Facebook Groups; promotion of business events that do not feature a NJAWBO member, partner, or sponsor; surveys; market research; polls; or links to data collection outside of Facebook.
Follow Our Rules
Message any admin if you ever feel like someone is breaching the rules. We take this seriously and will exclude members from the group who are unable to comply!
